COVE 12

The commercial workhorse. Built to run all day.

COVE 12 | Twelve person sauna cabin with changing room | From £72,000 exc. VAT

01 | THE ORDINARY USE

built for operators

A domestic sauna is used a few times a week by people who walk out from their own house. A commercial one runs from opening to close, by guests who arrive dressed and leave wet, and the difference between those two things is almost entirely a matter of what surrounds the hot room.

The Cove 12 is drawn around that. Twelve seated so a session is worth running. A changing room inside the building so nobody crosses a car park in a towel. Porcelain floors and stainless drainage because the thing gets cleaned between sessions, not between seasons.

the changing room

Most outdoor saunas sold to hospitality are a hot room and nothing else. The operator then discovers the actual problem: a guest who has to walk back to their room to change will use it once, and a guest who has nowhere to leave a phone and a robe will not book again.

The changing room is inside the building. Guests arrive dressed, change, use the sauna, and leave from the same door. It takes the sauna off your housekeeping route and out of your corridors.

02 | IS THIS THE RIGHT ONE

THE cove 12, AND WHO SHOULD BUY SOMETHING ELSE

THE COVE 12 MAY BE FOR YOU IF…

You are running sessions rather than lending a key: a hotel, spa, gym, retreat, club or holiday estate.

Guests need somewhere to change that is not their room.

The building has to look like part of the offer, not like plant.

SOMETHING ELSE MAY BE MORE SUITED IF…

It is for a small number of guests at a time, or a single let. The Cove 6 does that at a scale that suits one household.

You are fitting inside an existing building rather than adding one. That is a fit-out, not a model - different job, same standard.

THE DETAILS THAT MAKE A DOON SAUNA

01

NOTHING THAT OFF-GASSES

Inside the sauna envelope we use no glues, resins, silicones or synthetic sealants. Insulation is sheep's wool without polymer binders, so the wall handles moisture rather than being sealed against it.

02

OPENINGS THAT STAY TRUE

Doors and windows are handmade from Accoya, one of the few timbers that performs reliably through repeated heat cycles. Accoya carries a fifty-year warranty on the timber. Frames stay true. Seals remain tight.

03

SURFACES THAT TAKE THE HEAT

Interiors are lined in thermo-treated aspen: low resin, stable, calm to touch at full heat. Floors are porcelain tile with stainless drainage. Fixings are marine stainless.

04

VENTILATION AS ONE SYSTEM

Fresh air enters low, passes the heat source, and leaves cleanly. Bench heights are set to put you in the band where temperature is consistent and circulation is balanced.

05

LIGHT YOU DON'T LOOK AT

Downlighting is concealed beneath the benches and uplighting behind the backrests. No overhead fitting, no glare, nothing to adjust

06

DESIGNED IN SCOTLAND, BUILT IN EUROPE
